Call for Artists — Foraged & Found: Crop Art Exhibition
We invite artists of all ages and experience levels to submit a piece of Found, Foraged, & Crop Art to be featured in a special exhibition at the Indoor Winter Art Crawl at Bachman’s on Lyndale in Minneapolis.
This exhibition celebrates creativity inspired by nature — featuring artwork made from seeds, grains, dried plants, bark, leaves, shells, fibers, and other natural materials. If you love seed art or creating with found organic elements, this is your chance to be part of a truly unique and beautiful showcase.
Previously exhibited artwork is welcome — your piece does not need to be brand new.
How to Enter
To participate, simply fill out the submission form before February 25, 2026 at the link below. Pieces will be displayed as part of the Foraged & Found Crop Art exhibition inside Bachman’s lush greenhouses.
A panel of judges will review all submitted and exhibited works and select winners based on creativity, craftsmanship, and use of natural materials.
Winners will receive $100 Bachman’s gift cards.
Artwork Guidelines
All submitted pieces must:
Be created primarily from natural, organic, or foraged materials
Be suitable for indoor display
Be family-friendly and safe for public exhibition
Examples include (but are not limited to): seed art, grain mosaics, pressed botanicals, wood, dried flowers, bark, shells, leaves, and natural fibers.
This is a wonderful opportunity to share your work, inspire others, and be part of a joyful winter art experience that celebrates nature, sustainability, and creativity.
Crop Art Workshop
Step into a creative experience where nature becomes your canvas. Garden to Gallery: Crop Art Workshop invites you to slow down, get hands-on, and transform seeds, grains, and natural materials into a one-of-a-kind work of art guided by Minnesota artist Marta Shore.
In this immersive workshop, you’ll explore the Midwestern tradition of crop art through a modern, artistic lens. Marta will lead you through the process of designing and building your own composition, showing how color, texture, and pattern emerge from unexpected materials. You’ll create a finished piece that’s entirely your own!
